• Our Kit provides the homeowner with everything needed (excluding tools) to complete the shell structure:

  • SIP Roof (20# Roof Load Standard. Higher roof loads may be engineered upon request at additional cost)

  • Splines (as needed per plan)
  • I-Beam Spline (as needed per plan)

What kind of foundation do I need?

• Our plan set allows for 3 types of foundations:
  • Stem wall foundation with Optional SIP Floor System
  • Stem wall with TJI floor system (by others)
  • Slab-on-grade concrete floor (by others)
• You may alternately have a local Engineer provide a custom foundation system for your CB Cabana

How are CB Cabanas heated and cooled?

• We suggest the purchase of a: MSZA09NA / MUZA09NA – Mitsubishi Mr. Slim Heat Pump Single Zone Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner.

How soon can I expect to receive my CB Cabana Kit?

• CB Cabana Kits are typically shipped within 30 days

What tools are required to install a CB Cabana?

• Drill
• Ladders

Can I build this myself?

• If you have some building experience and a couple of friends, the CB Cabana kit could be installed over a weekend depending on your foundation requirements.
• Building a CB Cabana can save significant time and effort compared to a similar structure with standard lumber, but it is still challenging for the novice builder.
• If you are not an experienced builder, we highly suggest getting professional help (see our contractors section) or inviting a knowledgable friend to help out.

What about Covenant restrictions or permits?

• It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the building is permitted in the intended location. We strongly recommend verifying your installation by contacting your Home Owners Association and the local Building Department. If stamped drawings, schematics or additional information is necessary, please give us a call, we’re here to help. Depending on the specific requirements, additional charges may apply.
